Defiant Pathfinder

I came across Defiant Pathfinder today. Two models (2 and 4 nacelles). Apparently these were proposed models for the defiant class.

Looks interesting enough to add to FO don't you think?

well the second one was eventually used as the starting point for the nova. so we already have that.

i liked the general direction they went with the defiant and nova, smaller, more visceral. less of an ocean liner in space.

Perhaps one of these designs can wield pulse cannons. As i understand that was the original idea for a "Defiant".

how would you describe a pulse cannon as different from a pulse phaser?
