Just throwing this out there...

Could we change the default map selection sorting to be by player count first, then map name within that?

(I find that I look for maps by their player count first all the time)

Actually I think that would be best as well.

Have Alphabetical-Title be the secondary assortment.

at the top of the map selection box there is a drop down menu to restrict the display to only show maps of certain number of players. that makes it simple enough to find a map with the number of players you want. see attachment "3 players" , the drop down menu is highlighted in red.

also if you really dont want to do that, the map selection box acts like many file explorers, click the column title of the player count column and it will sort it by player. see the attachment "Sort by players" the place to click is highlighted in red.

I was aware of the 2nd point, not the first. My request still stands... however...

If the sorting would remember the sorting order from the last time I sorted (even across application instances: i.e. persist the sort order to disk/registry and load the 'last sort order' when initializing the map chooser dialog), that would work even better.
