Dear Devs!
I'd like to ask you if it was possible to decouple the attack from tme movement. Wehen I'm retreating or stafing the enemy while passing by i can't attack a single target of my choice whithout making my ships change their route. Is it possible to make a bottin combination e.g. Shift+Rightclick to make the ships attack a specifiv target without affecting their current movement?

That's a good idea. Not sure how it would be possible though...

Also, there's the way the attack cursor sometimes gets "stuck" on targets. You move it away but you have to wait a sec before it switches back to movement :S

Have you guys tried to manually fire on an area and it automatically snaps to targeting the nearest ship even if it's yours?

Happened to me the other day and I lost a remore because of it :-(

Think this is to do with the tooltips. When you mouseover an enemy unit, it will lock your cursor into attack until it has shown the tooltip. Then if you have moved off it, it will revert to normal. I've lost many ships because of this - I mouseover a cube or something to see its stats, then try to move my ships away and end up ordering them to attack.

The only way to stop it that I've found is to mouseover one of your own ships. This cancels the tooltip for the enemy ship, but its hardly convenient.

ן think this shuold be implemented toghter with evasive maneuvers because the ship need to fire from the rear and tropedos from the back...

Your right, it is. I'm making a new thread: Mouse-over...-ing
