good point never really thought about the fact if you answered a question that it would put an end to good ideas, discussion, or even possibly logical debate.

i read a lot more threads than i reply to. can't really comment on everything, then my day would be over from just replying in the forum
i am not a big fan of polls. i prefer a good comment or idea on a topic over any poll's vote

Adding a new race is very hard work, similar in scope to a TC though slightly smaller. And the most called for one, the Cardassians, were virtually destroyed over the course of DS9 anyway.
The Galaxy class and other frequently requested ships were put in through the warp-in system, which was specifically made for that kind of purpose; adding ships that don't fit with the era but are popular.
The Vor'cha's weapons were depicted very differently from episode to episode so how do you define canon in that case?
Other features that the community has suggested that have been added or have been confirmed to be added in the future are Grey Mode, a revamp of the mixed tech system, SOD based weaponry, changing a large amount of code back to stock for ease of porting, and synergistic effects with weapons and specials. How is that not an example of being community driven?
You missed my point, the cardasians are already a complete race they would only have to do what they do to make the race fleet ops worthy and maybe replace a few of the stupid looking ships somewhat like they did with every other race in fleet ops... this would be far easier than adding completely new races and the game really needs more races to play the game gets boring very fast when you play enough 3v3 or 4v4s because they become fed vs fed or borg vs borg and that is very very boring.
As far as im concerned the game doesnt need a story the game is what you make of it its just players kicking the crap out of each other you can imagine or not imagine what ever story you want there is no point in a story for a multiplayer game especially one like fleet ops its just not needed but if in the unlikely event a single player campaign ever is released which i doubt then it would not be hard to make a story as to why or how the cardasians came back if you think the obsidian order is completely wiped out then your naive they could come back from somewhere what you think EVERY member of the obsidian order were on those ships and then the last 4 or 5 got assassinated.... really.... the cardasians are a military people they wouldn't stay defeated for too long they would undoubtedly find a way to rebuild.
You could say the kool-aid guy was hiding a huge fleet for the fleet ops story and it would be more believable than what they came up with in DS9.
Im not trying to use this spot to make fun of the devs or anything like that at all but im strong in my opinion that fleet ops as a multiplayer game doesn't NEED a story and it really bugs me that we have a complete race there but it wont be released as part of the official fleet ops because.... there defeated ....seriously... but f**king iconians (extinct) and some random rip of off species 8472 are ok >:(

yea, whatever you are trying to do or not to do, MrXT - the complaints about your overall attitude towards some people accumulate. luckily i rarely have to say this, but please, see this as a warning.
