The weapon pod mod is nearly finished..i am putting my own touches on it now and am shortly gonna give it its first real world test in the Fleet Ops world.. can't wait..Elrond deserves all the credit and this mod should most definitely be included in fleetops in some form or another.. i know optec said that something like this is being developed but this the sh*t if it works correctly.

I have sent some of my FleetOps files to Elrond so he can modify his weaponspod mod to work with Fleet Ops... Will let you guys know when i have some results.

You do realise FleetOps already has some weapons that you have to research, like the Torpedo on the BoP, or whatever it was. Depends on the avatar you choose. It's a hell of a lot simpler than the way Elrond's done it.

I just want to be able to put more weapons on ships simply because you can get more power from less ships.

What we're trying to acomplish is not just researching a torpedo but giving ships limited quantities of weapons...if a ship is going all out and firing weapons, she's going to exhaust her weapons a heck of a lot faster than a ship whose being strategic and being careful... a ship "firing at will" will run out of torps faster than a ship "firing on command" armada does every thing "at will" there are no individual commands. but having limited weapon supplies and a firing arcs would prevent ships from firing in all directions... and ships that exhaust there weapons would have to fall back to a safe area or back to a starbase for resupply..and that would tie in with the supply concept being incorporated into Beta4 or Beta5...think about it...

i would like to see it but everytime i try to log in at afc i get the message "your acount has been suspended" or something like that..... dont know what happened... never did anything.. i just tried some mods...
