it should have ended with the crew dying brutally on screen. and the ship exploding. that way little chance for sequels.

I think Chakotay and the Doctor should survive the director's cut then.

The Doctor should definatly survive, preferably escaping with a recording of him slapping Tom.

Actually the Doctor should be the one who kills Janeway. Just for her returning to the past and destroying his good life in the ceased timeline 16 years later which will never appear thanks to Janeway and her ego-thinking.

Oh don't worry their won't be a Voyager sequel. Trek is kind of out of the mainstream now.

For me it's mostly because the combat tractor beam annoys me that i don't use that particular unit.
Also i prefer Martok and the Susa :borg:

Aaaand Derailed.

Back on Topic  :  It's funny that this post came up when it did.  Just before reading this I managed to slaughter my good friend Clintsat using KBQ and Charghs .  It was fortunate that he went Breen B-5's when I went Charghs, but really any unit that trades quality over quanity (Borg for Example) will feel the power of the Tractor beam HARD.

I had 5 Charghs and could easily micro a tractor onto any vessel I wanted.  Sometimes I could make Frigates face the wrong direction, keep B-5's from fleeing, or snag a repairing ship before it enters the dock.  SO much fun.

AND, as Mal said, they actually perform a lot better than you might think against ships you wouldn't expect :).  True, they only hard counter a few things like Negh'vars, Breen B5's, and Defiants, but they will do very well against lots of others :).

Thanks for returning to topic :). I guess I just need to try them out myself a bit more. By the way I never doubted that the combat tractor would be a very useful thing, especially against Borg. I've only been worried about torps against short range, in my opinion Dom bombers have the same problem: IF they hit (BoPs for example) they do really hurt, BUT they don't hit that often. You can get much more bombers than Charg'Hs in a short time though.
Anyway, I'll do some more practicing with that ship.

Yep you are indeed right, Hope  :).  They don't appear to perform that well against many things.  I think we are also all very attuned now to trying to BEST counter things whenever possible.  Sometimes it can be tough to factor in things like funky special weapons and odd weapon types (Heavy torpedo with slow firing rate).
