actually it has been stated multiple times that the warpin feature is like a "dreadnaught" feature. . . anyways i don't see the borg using the cube... the romulans using the tavara. . . the klingon using the bortas. . . the dominion using their dreadnaught that often... so i think it is fair to make it seem that warpin is useless by just bringing 1 or 2 ships instead of 3 ships. . .

The warp-in was never meant to play a critical early role in Federation gameplay - the redoes will shift it toward a more appropriate and fun location that reflects Federation playstyle

I don't know about the warpins failing idea, since the devs have worked so hard to make warpins LESS random so they all have about the same amount of firepower.
That being said, if the warpin becomes less of a critical part of fed gameplay, it would be okay for it to become more random again. The thing is that right now it functions like a middle yard between the antares and eraudi, it's just too expensive to go straight from chassis 1 small ships to chassis 3 large ships, maybe if there was another chassis 2 ship added to the eraudi yard it would make the transition smoother and the SFC wouldn't be as crucial.
I really like the idea of repair ships coming in through warpin. It would be confusing if they're warped-in AND built, so we'd have to decide which is better. Warpins should reinforce the fleet, not strike out to fight on their own, and a repair ship is more like that, it can't help suicide-raid the enemy's mining.

yea it's called the remore and the avalon don't forget you get ex2 (the most evil federation ship ever) for free without any chasis... -.- and on top of that it's not a battle ship so it doesn't take extra damage from certain weapons... also chasis is only super expensive for mayson.. for risner they are cheap....
