Hey, calm down, guys. There's no need for anyone to act like a prick. It's just a game, here.
IMO, some design aesthetics would be likely to change between the 2360s-2370s and the 2390s-2400s. I think Fleet Ops has a great system for the warp-in ships for the Federation, which updates their arsenal and designs new ships more often than the Klingons and Romulans are seen to (and than the Borg and Dominion are likely to), and I'd like to see a few advanced-looking ships for the Federation that the FO crew has been noncommittal on adding, like the Oslo, the Insignia, and the Vivace - sure.
But there's no need to break aesthetic consistency, and it's going to damage gameplay if the Federation is given every ship they've been seen (in any media) to use in the 24th and early 25th centuries plus a bunch of original designs like the Descent and the Canaveral, just for the hell of it. I've played mods like that and I don't really care for them as much as I like thoughtful, strategic mods like Fleet Ops and a few others (Empires II comes to mind). I'd love to see the Oslo replace the Norway as a buildable heavy cruiser, and I'd love to see the Insignia added for a Section 31 avatar or somesuch - but it's up to the FO team and if they feel that those ships wouldn't fit in, or they're not necessary, or they simply don't like how they look, they've got ultimate discretion. They're the ones who model and skin and code and balance these units; it's easy to shoot off ideas but it's a lot harder to bring most of them to fruition.
So, let's relax and remember our place. We don't have the right to make demands, and there's no use getting pissy about it, and there's no use in calling names.

We noted down the Centaur as a vessel to add someday in the future, as warpin or wrekage
