Captured Construction ship build list

Could captured Construction ships build more than one yard? Maybe the same as your own ones, except with the 'Ally' yard replaced with the 'Capture' yard?
Then, after finished with building mixed-tech yards, they could still be useful for something other than cannon-fodder in base defence.

i was thinking of something simular. they could use simular codes as used by the dominion prototype so that the different lists become available wen taken over or a hidden replace weapon that auto uses wen the ship is taken over

I could really be mistaken here, but isn't the build list controlled by the techtree files? Say, when you capture a Cardie const ship as the Fed, it limits you to building the Fed-Card yard? Even though all the Cardassian construction options are still technically there, just inaccessible due to the techtree not allowing use?

I mean the same build list as your Construction ship. All your stations and the 'capture' yard.

like if your federation and you capture a romulan construction ship instead of building the romulan stuff u'll b able to build the fed build list

I don't think that would be possible unless either a) you can add more than the 12 or 13 construction options to ships now, because now construction ships would have to be able to build all stations, for all races, and then get limited through the techtree, so you're looking at 50+ stations in a single construction ship, and only able to build yours, assuming you've captured it. Unless b) there's a way to change the construction ship via odf switching when it's captured.

Yeah, except with a capture mixed-tech yard where the ally one would normally be.

Yeah, but you are dismissing the automatic replaceweapon. So you could have a construction ship for each other avatar, for every avatar. Still that's a lot of odfs...

That's what I was trying to get at with 'b', I'm not too familiar with the way Fleet Ops works in it's entirety, especially with the extra features and changes introduced by the team, but stock A2 is pretty simple to wrap ones head around.

Well, it may be a little bit of work, but why only make the ship mixed tech? What abaout stations? I think on starbases and defense platforms...
