i feel the game cood have a new demichon put in it by ading sheld walls.

its not relasitic i know but this is a game and not a documitry. so i think we can add some things what mite make the game frun evin if thay arnt reasitc.

what do you think?

I take when you say shield walls you mean C&C style defence walls around your base, if so i think its not a bad idea, make defending your base easier, maybe a small generator each race can build for afew credits like the firestorm generator in c&c that could be turned on and off, you would build small shield turrets around your base then when you activated the generator they would all link up forming the shield, with the generators power decreasing from 100 to 0 when active (meaning you'd have to plan when best to active your shield walls).

I quite like this idea, so would that mean we have one shield "comand center" and the lots of little generators maybe called "shield relays" that create a wall around the base. You could also have upgrades that make the shield last longer or whatever. + shooting one of the shield relays would open up a hole in the shield where your ships could enter.

the other way of doing this might be to have a shield generator unit that has a special weapon that makes everyones shields regenerate faster an have the special weapon look like a shield, so ships can pass through an that but it gives all your bases within 500 distance double hitpoints or summat. Personally i like the first idea better but i cant think of a way of implimenting it

Very nice ideas. I'll wait for Optec or Doca to reply on that, if that can be implemented at all. :blush:

i think it can just program the sheld walls as stations and thare ya go.

It's not so much a line between a realistic and fun as it is a line between realistic and obviously not possible. I like games to look like the shows or media that they may be based after.

all you need to do is make 4 stashons that look like a sheald ech stashon whood be facing a difrant derashon.
