Campaign ideas... what are your ideas?

This has likely been discussed several times. This thread is to determine how to make a GOOD campaign. I am more than welcome to suggestions...
I was thinking that there could be 4 different stories, each story has at least 3 different races. The question is what will those campaigns be? I was thinking a second Dominion War, caused by an Iconian attack against the Dom that is blamed by the Federation with Weyoun 12 believing the Feds were behind the attack. Another could be a campaign where a Federation fleet accidentally gets Transwarped far into the Delta Quadrant (likely meaning you could have only one avatar through the entire thing) and the entire campaign is trying to get their way to a Borg Transwarp facility to go back home.
Though I'd like the 3rd campaign to put all strengths and weaknesses to the test. Because we should have a campaign where only 1337 players could master it. What are your campaign ideas on how to make a good campaign for FO?

Mark will be releasing a "campaign" soon... well, once his work clears up

ah now this is a good question but id wait till there are other races added then you could have some very good campaigns
fed dominion war where you would fight the dominion-sona-breen sometimes getting help from the klingons
dominion same but other way around
romulans we could focus on the remnn uprising
borg assimilate the alpha quadrant
klingons being in a weakened state could fight renegade klingons led by duras family allies maybe aide by selas romulans again

- Federation + Klingons + Romulans + Cardassians (maybe) finally realize that their cultures / ideals are essentially identical, sans stupid, pointless differences of procedure.
- A revitalized and pissed off Dominion with allies (Son'a, Iconions, etc) attacks the Alpha Quandrant.
- The Borg, sensing an opportunity, and really, really pissed off due to the end of Voyager (same timeline / universe as FO??) attack both sides in force.
- After an epic amount of fighting, both sides realize that the Borg are the true threat and unite.

the ciadans do whatever they do
the noxter appear on the scene dealing damage to the Dominion in response to the capturing and enslavement of past times

starfleet is successfully taken over by that bug species that has the breathing tube behind the neck thing. they then go on a campaign to take over the entire alpha and beta quadrants.
the borg assimilate and entire planet of hippies high on pot.........the borg REALLY liked that and lose all interest in conquest and become peaceful, focusing on growing things. the ferengi invade borg space to take over trade relations with conquered species. you must resist the ferengi with lazy, ships that sometimes forget their orders.
klingons and romulans simultaniously develop the perfect undetectable cloaking device along with biological weapons that are 100% effective against the opposing species, they simultaneously attack eachother at the exact same time and whipe eachother out completely.

I´m thinking of a Borg campaign, where you start out small, cause your only ship is trapped somewhere. You have to engage small freighters and mining stations first to get resources, then build a small outpost and re-establish contact with the hive. Hm, and while you are at, conquer.... err assimilate the dominion. Of course they cry out for help against the unknown threat, which brings the feds in. The klingons could aid the feds sometime, while the sneaky rommies try to steals your tech !

If it's possible to even edit and create the necessary triggers and scripts for single player missions (which if it's not I'm very confident the FO team will find some miracle way to do so), they will most likely have individual campaigns for their three star races: the Noxter, Iconians, and Ciadan. It's my hope that once FO finally comes to that point each individual race gets their own campaign since it seems so far each play an integral part in FO's semi-top secret storyline.

Hey TUN, its VERY doable... Theres a REALLY nice, Klingon Academy 2 Mod for STA2, that has a complete Singleplayer campaign... Multiple factions campaigns, etc. Voice overs. Unique triggers and missions reqs. It's very well done too. I just loathe the actual voice actors voice heh.

That mod looks awesome, but it can't touch FO. I'm going to try it out though

The Federation starts to discover new systems and tries to get more aliiances with minor races.
The first part of the campaign is, to encounter new space with a fixed amount of ships. A minor race, that is settled down to a planet is ready for diplomacy.
But the race will only speak with you, if you destroy the pirates of the surrounding areas and help them to develope a trading outpost (not in the game), a defense-space-station (maybe a DSS) and will help them to colonize a moon nearby to the home planet.
In order to find the origin of the pirate attacks, you have to capture a pirate cruiser. You analyse the sensor logs and will find their base. After you set up everything you needet for the minor race support, you will go on to the next stage: Pirates!
Next sector, next fight: Here you start with a fixed amount of ships and you must breach the enemy lines in order to get the first moon avaible. There you build up an outpost and a little shipyard and you will hunt the pirates down. But you must be fast, the pirates have a planet and you not, so they have the advantage. Try to hold the line and attack their base with a suprise attack, when the enemy fleet goes out in order to destroy you.
After the battle is won, you fly back to the minor race sector:
Ho, ho, ho, thi minor race is impressed by your actions and is willing to join you. They send their own ships around with an own shipyard. The new alliance is pretty fresh, but it will be tested now:
The Klingons have shown up and are also interested in the terretories. Now you have the option:
But why are the klingons so far away from their own borders? You have to investigate, and you should do it fast, because the Klingons are plotting something. And: Are there klingons the "real" ones?
and so on...
Campaign 2:
After the Dominion war, the klingon empire lost many ships and tries now to recover. The klingon empire is searching for new planets, ressources and wants to harden its own position. After the Cardassian union has been fallen, these terretories are now good to go. But the federation wants this terretories also.
You have to secure these terretories. You actions will help you to get a good midway of federation-giving and good terretorial encounters for the klingons. The Federation is interested in Cardassia Prime and some side systems, that are en route to the Federation Space.
The klingons are interested in a new colony that is not too far away to the origin klingon space, but with more ressources in order to rebuild the fleet.
You will encounter not only the Federation, you will see raiders, leftovers of the dominion fleet, Ferengi who wants to have all the terretories and even a minor race, that was unknown up until now.
Romulans:
The romulans have lost nearly everything. Not only the Tal Shiar, but Romulus also. But away from this, the main fleet of the romulans is intact, for now. So you are ordered to find a new home system, stabilize the fleet, build up a new headquarter and save your borders to the klingon and federation side. And maybe increase your arms to the delta quadrant.
Dominion:
Dont know... now is peace... let them establish a new franchise like "Mc Founder" that will overrun the alpha and beta quadrant.
Borg:
Its your turn to rebuild your forces after the heavy losses against species 8472. And you encount a new species: The Noxter. Not again, but it is! You cant assimilate them and your forces can not advance, but are strong enough to hold the line.
Your order is to finally assimilate one of their mothers AND secure new space, rebuild yours and... be borg.
Noxter:
You found happy new species and want to play with them. You found a funny new species that flies around in funny boxes, triangels and other funny stuff. The only thing you dont like is their color. So you try to get on these ships in order to paint them very colorful so that they are more happy. Remember: Only a happy ship is a good ship.
But you found out, that on the happy cubes there are unhappy parasites. You have to free the ships from the parasites and stay there is order to secure, that no new parasites will encounter these funny ships.
