Button suggestion

Buttons in Armada 2 are strange creatures and are unlike every other button in the world in the way they behave. Most buttons will only activate if you press and release the mouse while over their area. However Armada buttons activate no matter where you have the mouse when you release it. Many times I've pressed a button (such as cloak, or choosing a ship from a collective uplink) by mistake, but have had no way to get out of it.

So the request in short is : Make buttons only activate when the mouseup is within the bounds of the button. Anything outside cancels.

You mean click, then move the mouse away before releasing to cancel?

Yes. As it stands there isn't a way to cancel the press.

OH, I would LOVE this feature. I can't tell you how many times I've refitted/upgraded/clicked on a chassis/ability incorrectly and wished I hadn't  :thumbsup:

haha, will we soon be working in a button factory? or a saucer separation factory?

I like the idea, though I'm not sure I'd catch myself in time to use it.
