Building Qualityes

maybe if you are in a ruch you can build a star base that is sort of 3 star not as much health and shields but still functions and costs less time and rescources, and maybe a normal quality and an better quality which has more hull and shield strength but costs more?

no what i mean is if you are in a rush to build somthing you could have it so that it is built but like say 3* or maybe have it normal (4*) or have it better (5*) this could be used for any race, it would basicly be so that if you are being ruhed and need some defence quick be it defence platforms, outposts, spacedocks or even ship yards you could make a quick one that has less shields ect and then build it up to normal and surperb when the threate is over, however i think it should cost more to upgrade it to normal that it would just to build a normal one in the first place.

It is quite realistic, as we all know that 6 Galaxy class starships were built in a hurry right after the Dominion War, with thier masses and equipment greatly reduced to those of previous sister ships.
