Hey guys! This is where we could make things interesting... taking an old ship and recreating it to fit the look of the other vessels making the class "reborn"! Now, if you can... post a concept of how you'd imagine the ship when remade. Now, here are just some minor suggestions:
1] Tell us what made you choose that vessel, and how this vessel could play a part in if put in FO.
2] With concepts, make them look good, and not so much like a kitbash (I really think that a TOS hull with new nacelles slabbed on looks ugly).
3] Try to give us an idea of its strengths and weaknesses.
4] Try to make it look a bit unique...
Okay... some of these vessels are not often mentioned... I'll give a breif descriiption of some.
Long Bow: This vessel was a Torpedo cruiser that was rarely used because of a lack of phasers to back up its torpedoes. Plus it also had some problems with keeping up maintenance of the ship. (Image attached)
Soyuz: A variant of the Miranda class, seen in the TNG episode "Cause and effect" (I think). This vessel might look cool if given one of those Prem style attachments (that is a personal opinion). (Image attached)
Larson Class: A scout vessel known to have been used shortly before the Constitution Class was made part of the fleet. This was then replaced by a more advanced multi-purpose vessel. (image attached)
Federation (Star Empire Class): A vessel that was discontinued because of high construction and maintenance costs. This vessel was often believed as a relative of the Constitution Class. (image attached)
Neopolis Class: Ever wondered what the 3-Nacelled ship in the Star Trek movie was? That is what I call the Neopolis class, not much is mentioned about this vessel though. So just try to picture it.

The Connie if any. I actually really like the Excalibur-class in Star Trek Online, which is a post-Nemesis descendant of the Constitution-class line.

forget the ships........we need to bring starfleet personnel from the past to the present to teach this current crop about real life.

I chose the Kelvin Class, because who wouldn't like a ship with a Sovy nacelle and a large deflector above? That would look real nice!

I would have to pick the Federation Class.

Star Empire or Longbow.
I say 100% forget anything from Enterprise, worst trek ever.
If star empire, have it be basicly a mobile starbase, a mix of multiple heavy phaser beams, multiple torp tubes, and a few pulse phaser turrets for point defence or to shoot at primary/secondary targets (IE: 3 modes, standard mode it adds 3 pulse phasers on the saucer to shoot at the targeted vessel, secondary modes the pulse phasers either act as point defence weapons, or target on their own.)

Interesting... do we have a modeler here that can prototype one?

I kind of like the StarEmpire . But If I could remodel/ refit the class I would remove the third nacelle and add a smaller sized twin nacelle to the upper pylon. Give it the ability to Seperate the lower half as a support base. I would also give the ship a more arrow shaped main saucer section. I would only like to see it as a Warp in ship consumes 5 slots.
