Borg Tractor Beams

How do you spam tractor beams? These aren't holding beams we're talking about. They're tractor beams, just like the ones on non-Borg constructors. Also, how do Borg spam large ships? If you manage to get a dozen Spheres then you don't need any special beams to win.

The whole anti-tractor argument just seems silly to me. Borg can't disable your engines for more than a few seconds with their two subsystem disablers (both only disable random subsystems.) You expect to be able to tow away a vessel once it regains engines and the tractor beam stops? I agree with ARES on this, there would be no effect on combat.


Now for aesthetics I think it should be the same color as the holding beam (as that is the Borg's tractor beam, FO just gave it a name based on how they tend to use it mostly), but behave like a normal tractor beam (as now you're basically using the holding beam on a ship that can't move.) Also, the holding and tractor beam shouldn't be able to be used at the same time as each other, that way it's like there is really only the holding beam.
This would also make holding beam modules a little more useful.
