well i liked most things in A1, but in A1 nanites were not used so extensively,in FO it's like the diamond has no other weapon, it ALWAYS releses those damn nanites

It has other neat special weapons, they just dont research them :S

But still this is no reason to change one of its special weapons, remember FO is a MP mod above all ;)

Also I really think the nanites are gr8 the way they are now, maybe just decrease the time they last a bit and that would settle it :)

thare is no need to replace eny wepond but doca cola told me he wont to replace all weponds at some pont. the fo teem gole is to make this mod as uneek as posabul.

all that weapons does is makes it a second or so befor ships get the order, i know everry second counts but please, its just anoying.

And again I will tell u the same thing, its not annoying but it makes it hard for u to command ships in battle, thats what the borg developed and in my opinion it works fine :P
And does it really matter that is annoying the important thing is that is works and leave it at that :shifty:

anyway, if the borg are a race of assimilators, they would develop a weapon of assimilation, so the nanites could take a ship for a limited time with nanites, and that's that

WHY DESTROYING ONE WEAPON THAT WORKS FINE FOR ANOTHER WEAPON????
Just call it something else(like it was in A1 and A2) Computer override or something and leave the f***ing nanites alone, if they bother you well then too bad for u. For me battle tractor beams are annoying, u know that things klingon turrets have that keeps a ship in place, and u dont see me complaining about it :hmmm:

IT'S NOT JUST about the annoyance it's about the fact that it's a stoopiod weapon!!! now think obout this for a second!!!! what if you are borg? do you research nanites??? NO, becuse it's a weapon that is only deployable against humans!!! what if you play against AI's? it's a one way weapon, it's a weapon that a human player will NEVER use so why have a weapon, that you WILL NOT use????

And again it comes to this:

Star trek Armada 2: Fleet Operations is a multiplayer mod above all, so the nanites and every other weapon is designed in a way that it works against HUMANS, so in that way ITS QUITE EFFECTIVE, it is as its SUPPOSED to be. And if I would play the borg against a human I most certanly WOULD use it. :mad:
