Borg Mining Station

Make it so that the Borg miner can construct the mining station where it needs to be instead of randomly placing a mining station.

They already said weeks ago that it will be a part of the borg re-do.

But yeah, it will be added at some point.

Well, the Ciadan station won't be on the moon, just around it. Nothing in the 'Borg plans' section of the guide mentions anything like it for them.

Are there any plans to allow a player to put the Borg mining station exactly where they want it?  The current method is unreliable.

I remember hearing the Borg getting on-moon mining stations. I forget whether Dominus told me when he talked about Borg redo features on TeamSpeak or if it was a post by Optec or something. But I'm fairly certain that it is a planned Borg feature.
Ciadan get a mining station that completely covers the moon, that's not the same as being on it.

Same effect; enemy cannot mine it because you own it, just like only the colonist race could get crew from a planet in stock. I also know the difference, I was the first in this thread to point out the Ciaden have 'around, not on' stations (Reply #6).

If Dominus knew about a plan, it would likely be in the guide. The guide does not include anything about the Borg having 'colony mining stations'.

I'm not asking for something on the moon.  I'm asking for a mining station that is built like every other faction's mining station in the game.

Something like it is probably in the redo, but building it the regular way would require it be taken from the freighter and added back to the Constructor. A ship can only be one of them.

Until that is finished, the advice in the bottom of the Mining Operations section of the guides Economy page will have to do.

Even when doing that, there's still the chance that it won't work.  I did that once and the station ended up right next to the moon.  The freighter wouldn't dock unless given specific orders to do so.  I only found out about it because someone destroyed the freighter at my expansion!

Give the freighter a construction mode that can only build the mining stations.  Once the mining station is complete, let it go back to mining mode.  That's all I'm asking.
