Post ideas and suggestions on new features or improvements here.

Maybe the Incubation Center should give 1 supply every 7 seconds and after upgrading, give 1 supply every 4 seconds.  And reduce the cost to 600 dilithium and 600 tritanium.

Why change it?

I have a few reasons why it should be changed.

1 - It's easier to remember a cost of 600 than it is a cost of 675.
2 - The balance won't be effected that much by this relatively microscopic supply generation rate change.
3 - It seems more professional to give the supply at even second intervals (no offense intended).

By the way, maybe the upgrade cost could be increased to 200 dilithium and 200 tritanium.

It's also easy to look at the tooltip :)

The idea wont change much... so why is it important?

LOLWUT? professional? why do resources have to flow in using even numbers? why are they racist to odd numbers, or prime numbers, or binomial coefficients? will u want a CoA with fleetops next? :P
by the way, why increase the upgrade cost?

So why would the non-upgraded still give supply at 7 second intervals? Are non-upgraded Incubation Centers just casual suppliers, rather than professionals? :ermm:

It would just look better to give supply at even second intervals.  Besides, would it really affect the balace if you were given 1 supply every 7 or 4 seconds instead of every 6.6 or 4.6 seconds?

oh u dont mean even, you mean integer lol.

even is {2,4,6,8,...} = {2n : n is natural}

integer is {...,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,...}

i still dont care whether the resources come in at integer intervals lol

  Because it makes a difference over a game-time of 30 minutes :).

  60 seconds/min (/) 6.6 seconds per supply = 9.09 supply per min (x) 30 game minutes = 272 supply per 30 game minutes.

  272 supply in 30 minutes off 1 standard Inc.

  60 seconds/min (/) 7.0 seconds per supply = 8.57 supply per min (x) 30 game minutes = 257 supply per 30 game minutes.

  257 supply in 30 minutes off 1 standard Inc. at YOUR rate.

  It would make a difference over time :).  THAT's why it's not a nice, even number ^-^, because it was done using der evul mathcraft! :woot:

Yeah, this way if your smart you can put one up early, and not worryso much about supply later on, whereas you used to just run out of supply around your 2nd sphere? and then rush to put up like 5 incubation centers
