Hi everyone. So I have noticed that in an upcoming release (hopefully the next one!) there are plans for adding a Borg Command Cube like the ones from First Contact and Wolf 359. Obviously it will have modules like all the Borg ships, and I was thinking perhaps a special module for it could be a Sphere module. This would add a smaller sized Sphere to the Cube which could maybe act like the Avalon's fighters do in combat. It wouldn't be super powerful but it could draw fire and be able to take on smaller ships by itself. It could be maybe as strong as a Dodecahedron stat wise and use torpedoes like the Sphere from First Contact (Of course this may be too strong i really don't know, it's just the idea of having this at all really haha). The module would add a relatively high amount of resources to the price of the Command Cube since you're getting a second ship basically. So what do you all think?

we'll the purpose of a unit such as the command cube, is so tanky anyway, that i find it hard to fathom the necesity of this as a defensive measure. however, as an offensive role, or a support catalyst. this could actualy be very cool.

It would be awesome if the Sphere spawned as a result of the Command Cube being destroyed. It's currently possible to spawn units on death, however for some reason they are automatically shifted to Team 0.

Offensively I think it could be a great help in nabbing those weaker pesky destroyer types while the cube focuses on larger slower targets. Maybe it would have to consume special energy while deployed to keep it from being overpowered. And I love that idea that it spawns on destruction of the cube!

Ideed, the object spawn on death only works viably for Kill Assists/Buffs/Extraweapons/ and damage. anything with weapons, as only the uball obj can be effectively used.
A way to keep native team would be awesome.

i like this idea. to add to it, if the cube blows up like in the movie and takes out enemy ships with it that would be cool. when it does the sphere is shot out far enough to not take damage and then mop up whats left in the wake of the explosion.
or you could go for the completely OP canon and it goes to the nearest planet, travels back in time and the defending faction is wiped from existence
