Borg Changes for 3.07

for 3.0.7 i have reverted a part of the cost formulas. earlier vessels will be cheaper again, but connections will accumulate slower, in order to keep the Borg balanced. First test games worked out well :borg:

Slower? Hm...lets wait and see... :sweatdrop:  :D

I dont have a problem with the resource costs, but with the regeneration rate of collective connections which is limiting the speed i can build new ships. But im sure you guys know what you do, so ill just sit back and wait for 3.0.7... :woot:

regen rate to limit ships is fine. that will add an element of management and decision making - shoul i wait for a cube or get a few smaller ones out...
Exactly along the lines of what Dirc and I had suggested for dominion K-cel white as an additional resource.

I love this new Collective connections for the Borg.  :thumbsup:

I found that if you dont build the (was it conduction matrix) you end up with enough resources to build a multi-targeting sphere in about 5 minutes (2 regens, 2 beam modules) which is highly effective at tearing through destroyer spam (unless its dominion and they just ram you :pinch:)
