Battlefield Debris

how about this. After battle there should be debris left in space - f.e parts od ships, warp nacells. Especcially, when a big ship is being destroyed.

Good idea cept lag, the amount of lag you would get after a large battle would definately be up, and sometimes this game lags enough as it is.

yup, armadas netcode is horrible.. even the unmodded A2 had enough outofsync problems caused by that things produced by the engine... and this mod is at its limit i think at that part.

its funney games don't have limits they just have things people don't nkwo who to do so its "impossible" the fo team has surpassed the "limits" of a2 ages ago, byt back on topic yeah lag would be a realy problem.

well the lag whood be determined by the amont left. and haw the stuff left is made will it be flat or 3d ship parts?

hte idea is good but the problom still remands from what opect sed that its alota work to make all thos lital graphics and he whood have to and he dont wont to.

How about the derbis staying 'idle' and then dissappering after a certian period of time? That would help keep the lag down but of course there would still be an amount of lag.

Still more lag, after a huge battle that would be a BIG problem. Best to put this topic to rest.

how bout what they did in that one mod have dereletcs on the map that you can mine like a scrap station and some scatteres sovrigns to maby spining and spewing flames

in a later version there will be a "scrapyard" environment set which features derelict vessels
