In armada 2 there was an awsome feature [well i thought it was an awsome feature] and it was the games ability to be able to tell when a battle started and ended, what ships were presents and where the battle was being fought, it is only a small feature really but one that i miss a little bit.

Hope that made sense

Cheers

I'm not sure about this, but I think that feature is in fleet operations too! B)

The Admirals Log is still under redo, cause the old Armada2 Log does not fit the Fleet operations environment that well :)

for me the admirals log didn't work to well anyway. You'd read it and find ships in there that you never even built at the time. Or it would have someing like an enemy scout detroyed by a turret and say it was a draw or something ???

the whole "battle of " thing i think is suppost to refer to a more specific part of the map, for example i think battles taking place next to a planet are called that. (battle of Romulus for eg). Since FO doesnt have planets in this sence this has probably upset the already emo admiral.

I think an update on the admirals log would be cool. being a bit more specific about battles and so forth would be nice. but hey there's already so much on the FO team's plate.

I agree, the battles feature was something I really liked. Now there's only one or two battles which are listed as "The Battle of [Map]", where in Armada 2 it would be more like "The Battle of Starbase 301". Another glitch seems to be with the timeline in 3.0PR, at the beginning of the timeline it really glitches up.... if you play a game and look at it, you'll see what I mean.

I know the team probably already has a lot on their plate, but a nice feature would be able to open up saved Admiral's logs and look at them in-game instead of just as a text file.

"ingame", what do you mean, i thought the admirals log has to be compiled at the end of a game... hense the gap between the you win announcement and it actually ending the game.

i think that glitch at the begging of the game time line is to do with choosing a fleet admiral. its not going to happen at the same time, so suddenly 1 play has the ability to build ship.. the other one doesn't shift in power, game gets confused...that sort of thing
