auto update

so i wanna know if you can add somekind of autoupdate to the game so whenever you release new patch it will automatically be downloaded when game launch.. it will be very useful! thanks.

yeah it would be useful for those who have good internet connections, but what about those that are on dial up, or real slow broadband speeds?

So if it can be added, then I say try to have it as a toggable option. :borg:

sure, i would make this optional feature with a first run box asking if you'd like to enable it. after that it can be controlled through the game settings.

You have the servers/bandwidth required for allowing autoupdate? I'm impressed...

Still, I suggest you implement it for "small" (patch) updates. When a "big" (new install) update is required, it's better that the program issues a warning to the player and allows him/her to download at their own leisure.

no, we have not, actually an update notification is planned, not the whole download. you still have to download it yourself :)
