Assimilated Ships

I'm not sure if it is possible, or if it has already been done.....

Is it possible to make it so that if the borg Assimilate a ship that the ship is then stonger?

because the borg usually "update" the ship to a more powerful one (on an Enterprise episode(with Archer and NX-01) that litle tranprot-ship that left Earth at a very high warp speed, even though if would not be possible to go that fast.)

I mean that would be preety cool

just a question.....

It would be more reaslitic for the Borg to take a captured vessel and assimilate it into their exsisting ship or ships in the area ^_^

Of course it's possible, basically make it so a Cube parks itself, a captured vessel comes over to it and comes apart like either next to it or actually going inside the Cube, just like at a shipyard decommisions ships.

They already made something like this in origional A2 and in the second to last I think Voyager episode with a sphere, so don't see why just can't do it in the field

Oh I missunderstood the actionman cause I thought that when u assimilate a ship its stacs change, so that the assimilated ship would be stronger, cause the borg would upgrade it. Sorry if I was mistaking ^_^

captured vessles should have an evolve menu like the one rommie ship and then have like right when you capture it it looks just like a regular of that ship then you go to its upgrade menu select basic borg upgrades, when you do this tech starts to form on the hul and it starts to turn a grenish tint and shields get raised
When you upgrade that Nacels turn green and have borg tech all over them, going with this chage engins get upgraded, upgrades go on till the entire ship is covered with borg looking tech and has totaly borg weapons, strong shields, doubled speed, and longer sensor range ,

It would give Borg back an advantage and make playrs want to assimilate ships, the Borgs true function...PERFECTION!

i personally like the idea, but capturing ships should be harder for the borg then. otherwise borg could just get too strong *targets at random board members with assimilated tavara*

That would be a great addition that would make the Borg more cannon, though. A captured ship, having a separate upgrade menu to upgrade it, just like they did that freighter in Enterprise. But even the Borg have their limits, even though they are constantly pursuing perfection. So, dependent on the the ship that gets assimilated, the ship should only be allowed to be upgrade so much. Small, more weak vessels could be upgraded slightly more than an already battle-strong ship can. ^_^
