wasn't that those weird particle thingys that the ent-D shot at the cube?

i guess that could work as a retextured PDP, that shoots the enemies instead of incoming fire.

not neccesarily damaging but perhaps it could "confuse" the affected enemy units (like it did to the borg for a while).

actually i don't think that would do anything to the borg. remember what happened to the federation fleet at wolf 359? they had all that new stuff and it didn't do squat to the borg cube (because they had picard, and were able to adapt to the new weaponry)
i suppose that it might be useful against all other races in fo, aslong as you don't put in anti-matter aliens/ships.

just disreguard this whole post, and i took all the time to wright this out; so i'm still posting it.

er the Ent-D used it to buy enough time, for the shuttle (with worf & data) to get inside the electromagnetic "shield" on the cube, & rescue Picard .

i don't have a clue either, i just know it didn't do much, it was supposed to be a new powerful "super" weapon, but it's only about as good as a jamming cruiser to the borg.

a jamming weapon is all i suggested it as, with perhaps very minor damage if shields are down.
