Alternative ways to win

  How about it ? As it is now, the only way to win a game is to obliterate your enemy. I admit, i never played vanilla a2 in multiplayer, but i've seen that there are alternate ways of winning, like who collects a certain amount of dillitium or latinum... Could something similar be implemented in FO ? What do you think ?

Hope this wasn't a secret but I was mooching through the files the other day and discovered a reference to ctfUnits which I assume is capture the flag. Am I right is that going to be one of the new game modes? some kind of race to a specific object and holding it for a set time maybe?

None of the units it mentions have been implemented yet but I guess the lines aint there for no reason.

I've also seen references to a "Hold the Line" situation and NPC file in the odf folder. I take it Hold the Line might be a mode where a group of players hold off a massive swarm of NPC's? That would truly be epic.

Like CnC defence maps, always loved playing those with my mates.

Kill ship x / station y is also some cool option imo.
