AI is "challenged"

I like to use the Easy AI's sometimes. Even if not many people do, is it too much to ask to have it actually work?

The feds for example build two drydocks and three construction ships (I think), then just sit there. This is also true of the Medium AI but they eventually start to build things.

One other thing I've noticed is the gap between Medium and Hard is huge - one sits around and makes small fleets, the other pretty much spams like a human player. I'd suggest making easy and medium a bit more animated.

I agree that AI on hard is insane now. (3.0.6) I hardly ever play on Medium so I haven't noticed if the AI is lame. But I think that Easy should probably stay the way it is because it offers people who are new to the game a good entry point. If Easy was made 'harder' it might be a put off for some people if their first experience is getting spammed with 300 battleships when all they have is a venture. IMHO.

i think he means the medium one more. i can not comment on this because i only ever play hard AIs

Basically:

Easy AI does nothing/is useless.

Easy AI should be closer to how Medium is now (but not quite), Medium AI should be more difficult.

I played yesterday against a Hard AI Klingon

if you give the AI a little to much time...it spamms ships like hell.
Every 5 Minutes i had an incoming wave of about 40 ships.

It's not hard to defend as federation with torpedo turrets but it's very hard to kill the AI.
I counted the Starbases....11 and something about 40 torpedo launcher.
But it's OK...cause it's the Hard AI.

The easy...is really to easy cause it do nothing.
