Ai, How Uber Should It Be?

well, i opened this couse it's an interesting discussion, i think the AI hard should be extremelly good, to the point of unbeatable. And don't just make it build even faster, make it smarter!

by the way mark, could you send me the new AI script? i'd really like to see it.

Works for me. I like large fights with unbeatable AIs.
Of course, you can't plan for everything. And FO is good enough so that no strategy works against everything (except for mass destroyers as Klingons or Romulans, but they're working on that).

so far i have only optimised the fed and the overal attitiude of the AI. i dont see you on MSN for some reaosn or i would send them, you only need to back up two files to test it,

and i wish i knew how to tell the AI to not bother trying to beam,.. Message me when ur on msn, we cna get a nice 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 going

oh and massing destroyers will only help stall my AI, its mainly about team work and being strategic, i sitll cant beat my own AI with a one on one and i know what its build steps are

yes i am insane cuz i like a hard AI that is a challenge that i can actually loose to, it is beatable, cuz we have done it, it is hard for a reason hey ;)
and no its not just an update to the avatar, i could go into it but in one sense the AI doesn't even use avatars but i dont want to get into it, its messy to explain...
anyway feel free to open my "unitedfederation_instant_action_build_list.aip" when its released, every step has a description so you can cleary see whats going on...
i have also changed the way the AI reacts to situations and assess them, there be no more sending fleets of 6 ships and constantly backing thm up with 6, if they find ur moon and see its unprotected there go for it but wont necessarily go for your base, hell they attacked skitzeh yesterday just to get his moon set cuz they wanted it
