Could the next patch include seperate AI files that allow the AI to build from the other avatar? In a seperate folder so that you can change the AI's avatar at will.

The AI builds units from one avatar. Example, the Federation gets what a player using the Mayson avatar would.

i could swear i saw it building in different ways. i played a few matches against the dominion ai, and sometimes there were breen ships and sometimes not. so, im curious, is it random or set

Go to 'DataAIAIPs' and open up 'unitedfederation_instant_action_build_list.aip'. It only has Mayson units in there. All races use units with the Z at the end of the odf, none use the Y units.

yep the Ai does always use the same avatar. we are working on a change for future versions, we have only started to dig our way through the AI routines. give us time  :crybaby:

I changed them in the pervious versions, but some crashed the game. I haven't tried with this one.

The AI dynamics need a total overhaul, but thankfully God (or maddoc, as it may be) gave us multiplayer.

oh just because AI hard is a cold blooded, merciless killer doesn't mean it needs an overhaul.
