Aesthetic: PolaronTorpedo

  I was perusing Memory Alpha and remembered that the first time I saw a Vorcha Class was in Redemption part 1 and 2 in TNG.

 
  In Stock A1/A2 I always assumed that the Polaron Torpedo got it's roots in the "Main Disruptor" that Gowron barks about in that episode.  It's the shot the Vorcha fires once the Birds of Prey drop their shields that blasts the first one to pieces.

  Since it's a pretty safe assumption to make that the Polaron Torpedo is this Heavy shot that we've seen in Canon, could Boggzy ask that maybe some little blue sparklies be added to it so that it stands out a bit better from the rest of the Klingon Torpedoes?  They're all about the same color in game

I always thought that the Polaron Torpedo was based off Dominion technology, which is supported by the fact that the stock Bug has it as well...I guess it's possible that the Klingons simply modified the weapon used in Redemption, but if Gowron calls it the Main Disruptor then I'm guessing that it's...well, a disruptor rather than a torpedo...

That said, I do think the Polaron torpedo in FO looks a bit...lacking, blue sparkles would be nice heh

Yeah I really mean that the visual effect of the Vorcha Polaron looked like it got it's roots in the big disruptor fired in Redemption.

  If you recall from A1 the Polaron it had was a funky little blob with a ring of blue electricity-looking thing in it

Disco-ball Poleron sounds like an interesting sight. Would certainly look much more fearsome.

The Poleron may have been influenced by the Dominion or not. The Poleron Torpedo is also in SFC3, where it is implied that it wasn't a Dominion influenced weapon. That could support making it look more like the pulse in TNG.

Advanced weaponry developed by the Klingon Empire. The Polaron Torpedo may successfully penetrate the target's shields, detonating the warhead on the hull.

I like your idea Boggz, I'll finally be able to tell my (or my enemy's) polarons apart from regular torps and get some eye candy too.
