You could make the platting use special energy ...


This way...

All weapons of this armored version need SE without regeneration.

so the platting his highly resistable but after a few shots the ship wont fire anymore ...
so it would be useless ...

now you have to disable the armor platting wait ... and after some time you can start new ...

this is only possible if there are 2 ships ingame like in the ARMV Mod on A2files.com

in this way i think it would be usable ...

or do it like the corbomite reflector in original A2 just like it reflects beams as well ... A sod was also Used for this SpecWeapon ...

I'dont like the armored Voyager, she has always a touch of powerplaying to me, and this results in a unbalanced ship

So the Ship doesn't fit in our mod, because V3 is well belanced (much more than V2)

I like the idea of having the USS Voyager as a map object. I also like the idea of having it in the campain. I don't like Voyager that much but since they did a whole series on it, why not?

All these people that don't like Janeway and Voyager. Am I the only one that actually thought that series was good? I think she wasn't all that good in the beginning of the series, but once her character was developed and she gained much more experience, she was pretty cool. Of course she doesn't live up to Sisco or Picard, but I found her pretty reasonable at times...making decisions that she wouldn't have made when she was a newbie straight in the captain's chair.

It was ok, they just should have been blown up a couple hundred times. Most of those are from the Borg.

Didn't they attack a freaking tactical cube once and somehow survived? I mean that's not even believeable, especially when Picard and the Galaxy-D almost got trashed by a regular cube, and of course the single cube destroying 40 something ships at Wolf 359 etc. etc. etc.

The problem with Voyager was the first time they encountered a borg they were a little scared and then every time after that it was like...

Tuvok: "Captain a fleet of ten Borg cubes is approaching."
Janeway: "Again??...Tuvok ready phasers, even though we should have exhausted them fighting the kazon and the hirogen and the vidians and every other delta quadrant race which has attacked us, and arm photon torpedos...even though we should have used up our complement of photons about 4 years ago. Prepare to fire and destroy all ten of them in 30 seconds like they are made of cardboard."
Tuvok: "Aye, Captain."

or when the borg would hail...

Borg: "We are the Borg. Lower your shields and prepare to be assimilated. Resis..."
Janeway: "Yeah, yeah, we've heard this before..'Resistance is futile.' Blah, Blah, Blah...for some retarded reason...even though you can adapt to every modulation of our weapons in mere seconds...we still aren't afraid of you even though you should have assimilated every member of my crew about 13 million times by now...but you will die anyway..since we'll simply destroy all of your ships in seconds because we possess twice the computing power of a Sovereign Class starship and 3 times the firepower of a Nebula Class starship even though we are 1/3 the size of a Galaxy Class starship."
Tuvok: "Weapons at the ready, Captain."
Janeway: "Fire..and destroy them like they are late 21st century Klingon Birds of Prey."
