Adjustment to Klingon Field Yard

Post ideas and suggestions on new features or improvements here.

May I request that the Klingon Field Yard have it's hp/hull adjusted a bit?

I'd like to ask that the Hangars themselves (extensions) become more delicate, while the actual center part becomes far more sturdy.

The reason I ask is because I've seen MANY times now an entire Klingon Field Yard with 2 of more expansions go down to a Warpin with a Steamrunner, or even just a few simple Tier 1 ships.

Given that it's SUCH an investment to lose the entire station+extentions, I think it would be better suited to have the extensions themselves be MUCH weaker and easier to kill, but the centerpiece that builds the rest be considerably more resilient.

Completely agree, we've been blowing up central hangers for almost 2 years now. :D  I would welcome a change for the central point to be strengthened and the individual hangers to be a little weaker.

I definately agree.  Right now, the only reason I don't shoot the center is if I'm farming XP for ships.  3 yards + center = 4 seperate rankups usually.  :)

Maybe add +30 defense or so to the central station per expansion bought?

Hmm that's an interesting idea.  The more expansions added to it, the stronger the center gets.  I could see that.

i like the expansion gives centeral more defense, and i love the external ones to be weaker, gives me a even more better reason to actually capture and abuse transporter ability on the klingon yard instead of destroying it~ :woot:

Ah ... and perhaps a slightly increased crew count :D.

A pair of Assimilators will strip the crew off of it easily.  That ends up being a massive loss as well.

I wouldn't be suggesting such a thing normally as many other stations are susceptible to this strategy as well, but as we're all aware the Klingon Yard ends up sucking in far more resources than others :).
