Adjustment to Fluid Neb
Post ideas and suggestions on new features or improvements here.

So I had this idea while I was on the crapper today (no joke, I think about Flops while I poop!
)
Since the Fluid Nebulae are almost the single most powerful asset a Borg can use in a map, perhaps a slight adjustment to cause Fluid nebulae to disable Borg sensors like the Mutara's do would cause both shielded and unshielded targets to have problems.
This would do a few things. Borg could not sit in a Fluid and regenerate with impunity while other vessels get their shields cut. If they went into a Fluid to hide and regen, then could fall under attack from others in the fluid and have to chase them down with difficulty like EVERYONE does in Mutaras.
This wouldn't totally screw Borg over because if any shielded opponent came into the neb to chase it down they'd still lose their shields and (50-75% of the defensive strength), but they'd be able to target and fire upon Borg vessels from farther away.
Kind of a nice give and take

I think that'd be a quite nice solution

but borg will not see other enemy, while enemy see's all in nebula... kind of like telling the borg only purple nebula will be nice ^^;
unless! you can see all vessels from outside the nebula - meaning that the nebula does not generate a cloak, so a borg scout from outside can see fleet instead of borg getting squashed...?

in total i'm saying borg sensor gets cut, but all ships will be visible from outside of nebula.

Why is that necessary Arash?
The idea was to weaken the Borg that way they do not automatically get tons of free kills in the Fluid Nebula

That's not how it works. Ships outside the nebula still can't see in. The only difference here is that a Borg ship hiding in the Fluid will have to search around briefly and close to very close range to attack any other ship that has entered the nebula, while shielded ships can still fire from farther away once inside the nebula.

Non-Borg still have sensors? I don't like it, too similar to Mutara.
Perhaps Borg regeneration could be slowed down a lot in certain nebulae such as Fluids.
Alternatively, maybe the fluid could be redone so it only stops shield regeneration, not killing shields altogether. You would still have all the shields you came in with, but they won't have the same staying power, and a ship with shields down won't get them back up even slightly. Generix Support refit/Descent Shield ability would be unusable in Fluids too (prevent abuse of the no shield recharge thing.)
I think fluid nebulae should cause reduced sensor range by a percent (maybe 40-60), but not completely lose sensors (keep that for Mutara only please.) Borg already have poor sensor range, this would help a lot for taking them on in Fluids.
