Additional map objects

Strolling through the Bridge commander site i found this Space Objects pack. Could be an interesting addition.

If you want old stations, you need ones from extinct races. Something like the Nebula generator in the A1 Federation campaign.

No reason not to include that as well :P But it would be cool for target practice to have those old space objects and stations.

You know.... I wouldnt mind seeing more large map objects like the argus array. I recently thought large dyson sphere object that encompasses a map would be neat. that way we could battle within a dyson sphere. and no matter what angle the camera is at you could see the inner walls. :woot: :thumbsup:

That one sums it all up I think, add them ingame as options for map makers and they could be used for some awesome maps.

Well the same weapon does differnt damage to the same target when fired by differnt ships in flops too so not THAT much of a stretch.

For the Dyson Sphere i have the perfect model idea.

This vid was from some mod of the game Freelancer (first relevent vid I found).

Ignore the ships, look at the background (part of the stock game).

We just need convert it from that game to a A2 background file.

If needed I could try to find the file itself since I have the game, and someone else could covnert it as needed.
