Addings Captains for ships...

Hi, i'll just start off by saying that this game is a vast improvement over the original armada 2 game, which i'm sure all of you have heard before. I just had to say it, as the people working on this deserve recognition. I wouldn't add much at the moment to this amazing game, the one thing I would love to see, is the ability to assign captains to ships, or even name the captains or the ships. This is a minor thing, but it would be so cool.                    - On a side not if anyone can get dominion wars to work on Windows 7 please let me know, I know that usually its the video card that stops it from working, but if anyone has ideas that would be amazing.          Thank you to the developers of this amazing game (definitely not a mod) and keep up the great work! When I have the money I intend to donate!!

We allready have  Veteran units :p .

I think he actually means captain names, like in the Dominion Wars game. It has nothing in common with veterans.

Do they get special abilties ?

Like Sisko could get the " Bust a cap" special ability that instakills all enemies in weapons range.
Picard could get the  " Frenchman " special ability, in which he takes his short off and the sight combined with lack of bathing causes all enemies to retreat.

lol yeah it would be cool to have captains to identify different ships over the ship names. And yes the picard one would be hilarious!
