i was wondering if one more colour could be added to the 8 colours that there is now ....i ask this because i have heard of some people having problems with the dark green looking  just a tad too much like the light green. as well the light blue does look a bit like the dark green from a glance. i was wondering if another colour could be added, perhaps Teal , turquoise or pink. ....and yes people can say "well i can see the colours just fine"  ....sure good for you some people cant or have to take a second look or in team games have both green on the same team.

The Borg & Romulan default colors from stock looked different, the two greens could be replaced with them?

I tend to do that at times, I usually notice before posting though.

I think Americas plan to rule the world by making everything America is working...

That said, me tyler and myles all agree on something being no problem to do.

I think that alone shows it's non-controversial and likely even a great idea.

It's all in good fun, Blade. :)

We're two countries separated by a common language, after all. :sweatdrop:

I think that the -re ending makes less sense than the American -er ending for most words (centre, center, etc.). Other than that, I can't really see anything odd.

Or is it?

Well I would would like a new colour - maybe Teal?

BTW, as my uncle once said (this really happened) 'The Americans took our perfectly good, English language, and completely screwed it up' :D

No offense to Americans, naturally.  :sweatdrop:

Or is it?

It totally is. :)

Here's that Law and Order UK trailer that FrazUK posted.

//www.fleetops.net/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,3/topic,9866.0/

It's targeted towards an American audience, but someone from the UK will get a good laugh as well.  In fact, someone from the UK posted it.  In cross-culture humor, the "funny" comes from specific cultural heritage, worldview (how we grew up), and the trade-offs our countries have collectively made on certain things.

Eddie Izzard has some funny acts where he jokes about America to an American audience.  "I come from Europe, where the history comes from", or joking about how we tear older buildings down for progress, "This building was made FIFTY years ago!!! No one was ALIVE BACK THEN!!!"

Also, some of this humor about English and spelling may only be funny to Brits and Americans.  For example, I might not get certain jokes made in German, because I don't understand the historical context, worldview, or difference in the trade-offs Germany has made to completely understand the joke.

I think it's ok to joke with one another, so long as it's clear that it's because we like one another. :D
