it is actually a cannon ship.

but not a ship from the collective ^^
its from the rogue borg ... and you know ... they dont see themself as a part of the collective so they changed the logo and build an asymmetric ship

The Borg Logo is canon, and they have used it themselves.

As for the Rogue Borg ship, we know nothing of the ships history. That includes whether or not it was originally a Borg design or not. Probably not, but that is still speculation.

not directly

u know same like the christian cross and the inverted cross ...

Different meaning but it's still the same logo, they just turned it upside down. The Klingons haver had their logo straight up, at an angle and on its side but it's still the same.

We've also seen the Adapter in Voyager too, as a mine (or mine-layer...).

1) the first logo i think was the one featured in descent im not sure.

2) @tyler: the second logo has a colour change, flipped upside down, and side to side. its quite different, presumably the rogue borg logo was based upon the normal borg logo, so its different but inspired.

3) that mine mentioned by dom was the one that could disperse nanoprobes over several lightyears. that means it probably uses warp to fire them off :P

That mine is a plot-hole.

There is absolutely no reason, with that capability, that the Borg wouldn't just dump one of those in every sector of the Delta Quadrant, and then send a ship to do the same in the Alpha.  Or at least, instead of sending a ship to assimilate a desired species, just dump one of those mines on them.  I guarantee that it's cheaper to fire off the mine than it is to replace a cube or sphere if the target has good weapons.

One of those in Sector 001 - Alpha Quadrant would give the Borg a wonderful staging ground.

Voyager episode, everything is a plothole.

not true tyler, the episode itself is a plothole, ignore it and canon is more tolerable :P

i loved voyager, but my analytical mind makes me angries about it.  >:(

Probably 'Scorpion'.

Then I definitely have to disagree with you guys.  I loved those episodes :crybaby:, and the whole thing was definitely not a plothole.  maybe some parts of it, but not the whole thing.  Scorpion was where they picked up one of their most interesting characters. :naugthy:
