What do you guys think? Perhaps a credit costing research to equip AAGs on fed ships. Or maybe a research-refit thing. Research and then have ships build the AAGs. If the books are any source for cannon then Starfleet took all of Voyagers goodies away during project Full Circle. Now I realize that if the Federation gets this there would have to be a balance for the other Races. Any thought on Ither subject?

Thanks For Reading

Sounds nice to me and it would be something totally different for the Federation.

But I don't think that every fed-ship should have this ability. Imagine they had, everyone would use the AA permanently if there would not be some kind of time- oder special-energy limit. So in my opinion the AA should be a special ability for one ship-class only with some kind of limitation.
Regarding the balancing, the AA could slow down the ships using it to the speed of a mining-ship or slower.

How about default for Defiant Class and can be researched for Sovereign Class?

Why would it be default for the Defiant?

Defiant is a Warship and nothing more, seems natural somehow.

all new ships are if i recall. the the End Game stuff is jsut a bit diffrent, i think that the defiant would be a good one and the (cant remember its name so) the last one you can warp in. that makes it a bit more balicned yes?

Do you mean the Descent Class?

That would (maybe) make the Descent worth getting...

yeah that ship. lol
you cojld only have a set amount of them so it would be more balanced.
If you set it so that the AA would add like 30 shield points when active then it would still keep the defient from becoming a supper ship.

To be fair, the ablative armor shares a lot in common with the hull point system already in place...
