A Few Suggestions...

Hi! Here are just a few of my suggestions for v3, or perhaps even later versions.

1. I WANT NORWAY!!! The Norway-class starvessel is a REALLY awesome ship that appeared momentarily in Star Trek: First Contact and should definitely be integrated into F.O. at some point.

2. Missing some races? The Cardassians were one of my favourite races in A2 and I think would make a good race for F.O. Species 8472 should be added as they are very different from the Noxter. Their ships requirer crew, where as the Noxter ARE the ships and have a hive mind...like the Borg! , which also seperates them from Species 8472 because their way of thinking is different; their special abilities are also completely different, and whereas the Noxter go through all sorts of complex evolutions, Species 8472 warps-in most of their later vessels.

3. Planets! You should be able to colonize planets for crew, as well as all other resources, maybe build bases, aquire weapons and shielding, provide tactical advantages, research special tech? I dunno...anything! Because all they are in V2 is eye candy!

Just some thoughts!

Maybe I'll add some more things here later... Other people feel free to add your thoughts!

I think the Norwar class is going to be in V3.

I do believe the last 2 thing will be decided later, or already have and will be in V4.

If cardassians should or should not come is being discussed in another topic, search it out yourself.

Planets are better they way they are than they way they were in A2, either bring them in properly or dont bring them in at all.

And norway is commin I think

i just checked the tecktree its the newton (i thought it was the norway thats why i was asking)

The Norway was an assault ship, not a medical ship. It helped destroy a borg cube at one time.
Oh, and here's another suggestion...

4. There are many metals used in the Trek universe, and if in FO metal is now called tritanium, then there should at least be one or two others, like duranium (the toughest metal, used on some federation starships).

i think its a typeo, i have always meant to ask that? is it meant to be titanium? or is it meant to be tritanium?

@mortographer i dont think you can create new resouces so making more metals is probably out of the question. i think you can only edit existing resources, but they work fine as they are i reckon.

BTW was recently looking at the ingame gallery section and saw something next to the resources & officers pool that looked red. any one know what that is?

it is tritanium

As far as i know it is absolutly impossible to add more resources to the Armada 2 engine but then again the FO team has proven me wrong many times before....

those are definately suppilies, a new reasource in FO v3 (i think they are using the old latnium resource as the thing being replaced)

anyone know what the supplies do? i've looked around but can't find anything on them
