2 shades of the same colour? Confusing.

I've noticed that there are two shades of green in the game, and this gets confusing sometimes in games with lots of people. Why the need for two shades of the same colour? How about making the existing orange more bright and orangey, and replacing dark green with brown? For the critics, I will say: how hard can it be to make this change? Are there really any drawbacks to making this change?

I replaced the light green with the Romulan default color from stock, and the dark green with the Borg one. Those don't look too alike and fit the race. That way you can have the races using their proper color in IA.

I have to agree.  As someone with partial color blindness (two similar colors, if near each other, will look absolutely identical to me) I really don't like similar colors for much of anything.

Yeah, its why I avoid picking green because while I am not colour blind the two shades of green are just a little too close.

I vote for black.  :D

Haha, yeah ive heard some players nitpicking over this, say optec, would it be possible to give more color choices then just the 8?
