Very Nerfed Phalanx

Well, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the Magnan Phaser is the absolute worst weapon in the entire game! It uses special energy, does less damage then a pulse from a Venture, and gets worse with larger vessels!

Is there a Phalanx in the game ? Just kidding.  I never use it, the excelsior 2 is the main vessel of my fleet. (backed by a few remore and defiants.)

Fully experienced akiras are way more useful.

Phalanx is too expensive for what it does imo. Nice that it doesn't cost credits anymore, but it's still a bit 'meh' for it's cost.

with the larger Federation redo planned for the future patches we will take a closer look at the Phalanx, too

its going to be small balance changes with an odd new ship here or there
