Trading "Credit" ships again

Was playing a game with 5 other people, and suddenly the yellow guy pulls out somewhat like 8 or 10 dominion Dreadnoughts.  He traded them to one of his teammates to get around the 2 dreadnought limit.

yeah, it was 9 V-15 dreadnaughts, got a screenie of his second wave of dreads

oh, i just checked and noticed that not all limited vessels are not transferable, seems i forgot some. thanks for reporting! will be fixed in 3.0.6 :sweatdrop:

oh, great :P sorry for that. hope that guy wasn't an asshole who used that exploit on you.
can ship trading not be disabled by not allowing "instant trade" as workaround until the next patch? i am not sure if ship trading is involved in the instant trade feature

please please PLEASE don't fix it with the Fed repair ships.  Its soooo awesome.  I trade resources and supply to my friends when I play so I can get them. :-p

i am adding checks to the ship trading functions for the ship caps, so that this function should not allow an exploit there anymore

yep, we are currently thinking about, if it should still be possible to trade repair ships, but the receiver will need to have free repair vessel slots. So in conclusion you will still be able to equipp your allies with repair vessels, but only three per player, as intended. If everything is working as it should that feature will apply to carriers ad similar vessels, too. Hard-limited vessels (like mixed-tech units) will still be bound to your very soul! ^-^
