I am playing a game vs a hard dominion AI and i am building a lot of griffins. If you have as few as eight with a veteran or two mixed in, these vessels are highly capable and triggering the sensor jammer will wipe out all small and medium ships, and pretty much kill shields on battleships. Thus, the sensor jammer can more than adequately serve the romulans, although i would prefer something a but more like the scrabling drone (deals more damage and maybe has a small chance of disabling weapons).
