I've been playing 3.2 off and on since yesterday, trying out the new stuff and I was hoping I could get a definitive description about how the Teutoburg is supposed to work.
It says it has 2 launchers, one that fires 2 torps and one that fires 4. The two launchers cycle every 4 seconds. The torps have reduced hit chance against all ships which means they should get 80% vs large, 64% vs medium, and 48% vs small.
Also, if the target is within medium range, it should be 3 and 5 shots?
The thing is, I don't see them working this way in practice. Sometimes it works correctly, but sometimes the Big T will spew an unending stream of torps at a distant target and against small ships I don't see them missing half of the time. Obviously I need to observe them in action more.
One thing I'd like to request is for one of the launchers to get a range indicator circle at medium range so we can tell when the bonus missiles should be firing.
