Idea to tweak Starfleet Command

Crazy Idea just hit me for The Federation's Starfleet Command staition.  As an added function to warping in emergency ships starfleet command could also slowly generate supply.

To compensate for this generating supply you could implement an initial supply cost for warp ins...

This would also make starfleet command more desirable for people who don't like to use warp ins.

Having a supply generating station would help to depict the size and scope of federation industry.  Keeping it to a onetime only build station would also reflect that the Federation's manpower while vast is not infinite.

You still wouldn't be able to mine supply like Dominion, raid for supply like klingon or build multiple incubation centers like Borg; but you will have something that lowers supply strain besides buying it wich can be a hassile while trying to fend off an agressive foe.

I would think this is fair only if there are two special stations, like for the romulans. Basically you either get warp ins or you get a trickle of supply but not both and this supply station would probably have to be a high er tech station so that its the last thing you build. Maybe it needs an eraudi yard and a starfleet science

umm dude, this is the purpos of warpins themselves. Or In plain teams: Getting powerfull ships free while your enemey strugles to get kills on ships that have more defense per-square inch than the death star. i think were done here.
