Holding beam module needs more love.

Ok, at first let me thank you again for releasing a new and amazing version of Fleet Ops.
You people are great! 
Borg got quite some changes, however I get the feeling that the holding beam has been left out for this release? It seems still to be a bad module choice for most situations. The boarding strength is hardly worth mentioning and while the increased vessel stats are nice, I find a cube with 2 tactical armor modules much more usefull. Although the tactical armor has been considerable weakened with 3.1.0, it still does a lot better in combat than 2 holding beam modules. The big boost in hitpoints is a large advantage, large enough to warrant even the increased price.
Now this is pity as:
1. Good borg cubes are always the same
2. The new adapting idea is ruined by that (you are going to have one beam weapon anyway, so that leaves 2 torps, one regneration module and then the decision between 2 holding beams and 2 tactical armor - easy one. (Consider you can only have one more torp module - which wont help you as much as thick armor)
3. Holding beams are very borgish, would be cool to have some ingame use for them.

I agree. The holding beam got special weapons effect reduction, but I would have rather seen it make the special more effective. For example, more holding modules reduce the special energy cost. If I'm putting thousands of resources into a cube, I would want the holding beam to be more effective than it is. Still the other modules give damage reduction%, which is pretty nice.

Agreed, improving the effectiveness of the Holding Beam would be nice.

Well I think all Borg lovers would love to see this change, I'm not sure its gonna happen. I know the dev's have said they'd look at it....but I brought that up awhile ago when I first started playing FO. Boarding party works now for Borg AI when you're not manually telling each ship what to do.
