Federation Starbase Bug

While playing a game with stardust and mal the other day, we noticed something very odd. Stardust was federation and build a starbase at his expansion. He fully upgraded it and on the tooltip it said quantum torpedo, but all that was fired was pulses and photon. However, his main starbase fired quantum topedoes.

might be a bug in the current version, just tested it with the recent dev built, its working there :) so should be fixed

I don't remember, but I think he was Risner.  He was talking about Risner starbases should have quantum torps or something.  So I think Risner. :D

sure he didnt just have quantum turrets around it? they will shoot through it if your in range.

I noticed another bug with the starbase and starships that use "cannonimp". Normally, they're are four shot delays in the ordance odf, so it will fire four quantum torpedoes or whatever is assigned as the torpedo. In this case, the starbase and ships like Excelsior II or Breen Cruiser fire a continous stream of torpedoes.

I would try a fresh install, see if that fixes. cause from what you have said and that noone else seems to get this, mabye even try re-downloading.

I assume you use a modified game too... sometimes playing around with the files can cause some unexpected results in the rest of the attributes I know  :sweatdrop:

I did modify it. I'm also guessing there's no way to fix that issue but I can't see why simply changing crew capacity and fire rates would have that kind of effect. However, it's rather interesting to watch entire fleets of Borg vessels be decimated by a few ships with quantum torpedoes.

Not unless you backed up the files, a fresh install is your only option.
