You feel like a battlecruiser is too weak or a race too strong? Go ahead and discuss it here :)

yeah i was there for the forst part of the attack, but none of us had any construction, and i had to go,
for some reason, no matter what i built with roms ,i got anilated by your borg

Facing 12 cubes? Yeah, you'd have to be seriously spamming to not get wiped by that. Add in some diamonds and spheres, and it's even more of a frogstomp.

Serpicus at the same time took the time to invade with his own fleet and destroy Mark's base, followed by most of my own (though my constructors were with my fleet so I rebuilt my base where your base was). Then I doubled back with Mark's fleet and destroyed Serpicus's fleet with my leftover fleet (something like 12 cubes, 10 diamonds, 2 spheres).
If you want, I can give you some hopefully helpful hints when using the other races
first hint -- don't go afk for 10 minutes during the game without having built anything..especially at the outset of the game.

ill leave the rest to Dom

Most of the issue Ray, was that you didn't seem to micro the Romies at all. If you are going to build Serkas, at least build Cehlear's to hold the Borg in place. Likewise, Generix support refit mining the corridors does wonders... as does the weapon disabler against the relatively small Borg numbers. Also, don't follow the Borg into a nebula... not only are your shields disabled, but sending 8 norexans against 4 cubes isn't going to do much
. Likewise, you have to take the advantage: claim the nebula first, be the first to attack mining, and never ever send your ships cloaked when you can plainly see that I have sensor posts and Diamonds chasing you

yeah, it just seemed liek even my tavars wernt doing much, and 2 dont do much, and the nebula thing, i had a scout slip into the nebula, and then slip out cloak and scout out your base, i was hoping i could do the same and then strike your mining,
also the rommies cloak is to eas yto detect

Ha! Mark had ships cloaking and uncloaking constantly within your base (scout) and Fedies (whole fleets), and you guys could never put up a fight--so don't give me that "too easy to detect" (except witht the Borg: it's a bit too long range for my tastes)

yes i know he did, but we always held you off

If by held us off you mean "entire base got destroyed except for 1 construction ship and a research facility" why yes, yes you did
.
Not to mention he had scouts in everyone's (but Serpicus's) bases the entire game.
However, this is really off topic from the thread: if you'd like to continue a discussion of tactics (or lack there of), I suggest you make one
