Borg ships and Transmission Matrix

You feel like a battlecruiser is too weak or a race too strong? Go ahead and discuss it here :)

Why is it that the adaptor's special abilities which it obtains from the transmission matrix such as boarding, devastating attack, and slicer beam weaker than the dodecahedron and is similar to that of scout cube even though it is the 3rd ship in the uplink menu?
shouldn't the adaptor specials be similar to that of the dodecahedron or somewhat in between the dodecahedron and assimilator? (in terms of energy useage and amount of crew boarded or shield drained or hull damaged)

Two possibilities. First, the Dode has 900 crew and Adaptor has 800? Second and more likely, the Dode is a support ship and thus has more effective specials.

Nope, not the case i tried with all the borg ships. it depends on the amount of energy it uses, right now probe, scube, and adaptor use 125 or 150 energy and do same damage with transmission special, but dode and other ships use a higher amount of energy and do higher damage, and it spikes up with every chassis level with the exception of scube and probe...

Maybe the devs overlooked this?

adaptor specials should definitely be weaker than the dodeca, the dodeca is a support, with more energy and systems available for the specials.

it also should be weaker than assimilator, as that is a much bigger ship, which is good at using specials (it has blue beam and nanite factory modules dedicated to specials)

the adaptor however is about adapting, not using specials. i think the adaptor fits more as a combat ship than a support ship.
