Borg assim special energy reserve - a quick question

After installing the recent patch for a borg assimilator with 2 assim beams and 1 special weapon, we used to have the total reserve energy at 1988.
At this time it is at 1498.

Is there any specific reason for this?

**note this was observed on optimize not assimilate**

Maybe because you can get a lot more of them now, so for balancing?

there were some invalid borg module attributes that had been corrected by a formula redo, tha could cause small changes
